SCreen Saver issue New install windows 7

New Member
Just installed windows 7. Cannot get the screen saver to come on no matter what I try. Ive selected a screen saver. told it to come on after 1 min and even went to power options and had all of that turned on.

What am I missing? Is there some function of Windows 7 that I have to go too to get it to turn on?
 
You may have a program running in the background that won't allow the screensaver to activate.
