2005 IBM Thinkpad screen has been stepped on and now it looks like there was a "paintball party" on the screen. Is there any way this could be fixed or should it just be replaced.

Gotta replace the LCD panel or use it with an external monitor.

I don't have the specific model number, someone just sent me an email about there screen being stepped on and asked about getting it fixed. Where do you usually order spare computer parts from? If I can't find it locally I usually use newegg or eBay.
