My Asus notebook is behaving strangely, sometimes when starting, screen turns off or during startup doesn't turn on at all. I can hear programs starting up and I can see it trying to turn on. It doesn't flicker or slowly fading it just goes to black and I can see it trying to light up. This occurs occasionally not every time.
When this happened I tried plugging in external monitor and everything went back to normal.
Is this a software or hardware (GPU, screen, power) issue?
