Current Theme - Portrait

HOW IT WORKS

This tournament involves a maximum of 11 participants: the winner of the previous tournament (this member has a spot saved) and 10 other members. After all participants have uploaded their entries, another thread with a poll will be created in the Off Topic Chat Sub-forum. Then for a period of 4 days, all forum members can vote for their favorite entries. After the poll ends, the participant with the most votes is declared the winner and can then choose a new theme for the next tournament and create a new thread in the Computer Games and Consoles under these guidelines.

RULES
No self-voting.
No spot saving.
Only one entry per participant.
Resize necessary for screenshots over 1080p.
Submissions that have been heavily manipulated are not accepted.
Submissions that have previously won a tournament are not accepted.
No plagiarism, copying images off google etc it has to be taken by you!

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES
Unless the poll was created to break a tie, please make the poll multi-vote.
If you wish to change your submission, do not create a new post. Please edit your original post.
Any member is allowed to create the voting thread but only the winner (or anyone assigned by the winner) can create a new-theme thread.
If there isn't any new participants after 2 days the voting thread will be started.

Been a while since one of these was made. New rules, after 2 days with no activity a voting thread will be created, and no resize necessary for 1080p and below (and this also means a 56K/Phone warning in thread title).

Yeah it's not the forum that's dead and it has nothing to do with the rules. Photo tournys are based on the same rules and it works well.

People are just not interested in a screenshot tourny...

Dude, you have an average of less than one post per week. I'd suggest if you want to increase your standing, and interest in the forum, you get involved more...
 
Why do you say phone and 56K warning? Who actually uses dial-up anymore? And these days with 4G/LTE phones have download speeds of 10-100Mbps.

If the post doesn't get a reply in a day or two, it gets buried and if you don't bump the thread, people will never see it.

Exactly, that was my other thought... what is this 1995?
 
56K is a general term. If your using a 3G hotspot or otherwise, it applies. And if people are so uninterested in a screenshot tourney, why were they so bustling a year or two ago? Saying this forum doesn't have as many active members right now is bs. And the ones that are active mostly stay in OT or Photography. Only a select few do what this forum was designed for; computer help, computer talk, and anything to do with electronics pretty much.

Photography is electronics mate.

It worked for a while probably because it was something new, but personally and that works only for me) when I play a game I don't usually take screens.

Anyway there is probably no real reason why people aren't interested in doing this, my interest changes from time to time I'm sure that's the case for many people.
 
Either participate in the tourney or don't say anything. These were really popular at one point and it would be nice to see them come back.

Champ, a lack of interest in a thread or topic does not correlate to the OP's involvement in the forum. PCUnicorn is a very active member of this forum yet he still couldn't get a single entry for this comp (so far).

Also sometimes it's best to stay quiet. There are members on this forum who post unnecessarily and do it just for the sake of responding to something. Less is more m8.

Regardless I've got an entry for the comp and if more people are keen I'll post mine up

I'll take a look at my screens and if I have one I'll enter it :).
 
Nothing against the tourney but I do have a question.
Since Jay doesn't have a computer where are his screenshots coming from?
I assume the screenshots are supposed to be from a game that you are actually playing.
