Screenshots urgent

hey i took a screen shot in internet explorer then didn't paste it and took an screen shot of another picture and the thing i took a screen shot in the first place has been deleted is there anyway i can get this screenshot back?
is it saved anywhere?

my operting system is Windows XP SP3

No, when u capture a screenshot, it is stored in clipboard for as long as u do not copy something else or turn off ur computer. If u copy something else, or take another screenshot, the previous data on clipboard gets erased.

To avoid this situation in future, u can use a software called controlc, which saves each and every data, which u copy into ur clipboard.

just take the screenshot and paste it into M$ paint then save it

and as mac5501 said , paste it in ms paint and then save a copy of it and you are ready for a new screen shot...
