Does anybody know how to take screenshots of a video which is playing? When put into paint, it goes all funny and black when you save it.

Somebody said something about turning off graphics acceleration, but when I do, the video won't play.

you can use intervideo player, with its snapshot capabilites or you can use photshop and import picture from a video.
 
When I used to play the Medal of Honor Series...yes the game is dead now...but what you would do is hit "F12" and it would take a screen shot. It would then automatically send it right into my medal of honor main folder, and from there you could view it.

The newer games probably do it different now though, but its worth a try.
 
1. Sometimes games have a built in screenshot function
2. For the games that dont you can use a D3D/OGL image dump using something like FRAPS :)
 
Tweaker - Windows Movie Maker won't load it, because it's a MKV extension, something like Makosa or whatever. I dunno..
