Scsi card problem (i think)

I've been busy with a server build which will include some scsi hd's.
Up until now i've had to correct many problems and rma 2 products so i've really had it with this build.

Current situation:
Hardware:
- mobo: msi p4m900m2
- memory: kingston 2gb 400mhz ddr2
- video card: onboard
- cpu: intel celeron d 347
- psu: 350 watt brand psu (forgot the name)
- hard disk: 20gb ide/ 2 scsi 10.000 rpm drives
I've installed windows 2003 server on the 20gb ide drive. And now i'm trying to get the scsi disks to work.

This is what i'm sure of is working:
- Motherboard
- Hard disk (ide)
- Memory
- Cpu
- Psu

What i'm not sure of:
- scsi disks (right now 2 of them, when i get another connector i've got 3)
- scsi cable
- scsi pci card
- scsi adapter (between cable and hard disks)

The problem is the scsi disks is that they aren't showing up in my windows installation. The scsi pci card is showing up fine and seems to be working. I've already tried to get into the scsi card bios. It won't work it says the bios will be invoked after the post but it just doesn't. I've already tried inserting the scsi pci card into the other pci slot.

Also in my windows i've got 3 devices in my device manager that don't seem to be working correctly (they're recognized but there's that yellow reclamation besides it, don't know how you call it in english). They are: 2 times a "via pci to pci bride controller and the "standard floppy disk controller". The second won't be a problem i don't have any floppy disk drives anyway.

I can't seem to find any drivers for the pci to pci bridge controllers. And i've already installed all of the motherboard drivers msi provides (got the updates ones of the website).

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is??? I've been at it for a couple of weeks now but i can't seem to find anything that works.

what is the scsi card brand and modle number.... if you dont know try to find important writing on there and tell us.

i don't know for sure what kind it is. But on the top right corner of the card it says adapter 2100s
i googled the name and it seems to be quite common

oh adaptec. they are a really good scsi card manufacture. infact im using one now. Yours is a scsi raid card. You want this http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/speed/eprom_bios/2100S_3200S_3400S_bios_v162_fw_exe.htm this is the firmware. make a bootable ms-dos disket and put the files on (or it will do if for you...) and the main driver is, http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/support/raid/scsi_raid/ASR-2100S/ pick your os... if you have xp i would go with NT. it should work. but if you install the bios windows may have a driver then. else try the driver.

if you read the complete post you can see i can't get into the scsi card bios.
so i can't flash the card
also the card is already showing up fine in windows

oh, sorry the ones i have seen you boot into dos and are able to upload the firmware without geting into the bios of the adapter...

well the readme says i have to update it through the bios...
anyways if you can give me directions on how to update it through dos
i can try that to.
