Hi, My old Dell (Dimension L series) is getting to slow to use so i decided to Upgrade it. Because its slow i wanted to up the memory. To find out which type to use i use the site www.crucial.com i follow all the instructions and it said i needed pc133 with a maximum of 256mb per slot. I shopped around and i came to get two identical 128mb PQI RAMs

RAM Info
PQI
PC-133
T66a3-02c3
MS3828UPS

I removed the old 64mb Samsung RAM
PC133U-333-542
M366S823DTS-C75

and replaced it with the new ones. I rebooted the computer the dell logo came up and then it went to a blank screen then froze. I rebooted again and tried to enter BIOS but it froze on the dell logo.

Could someone please tell me whats wrong (or what ive done wrong) or if ive brought the wrong RAM
Thanks

put the old ram back in and see what happens, or just try one stick of the new ram swapping each out maybe a stick is bad or both
