Seagate Ata Device (40gb) Problem.

Ive got problem about start windowa i heared sound like tiny beep from hard drive Seagate and everytime i play or browse and it beeps my computer get freeze ( so hard to use my computer because of beep from my hard drive seagate and get freeze my computer help!

Your hard drive might be on its way out. Backup any data you may need, then download Seatools and test the drive.

40gb hard drive?

To use cars as a comparison, 40gb hard drive is a T Model ford. Instal a bigger hard drive and fresh instal of your operating system. I Just hope there are not any files you want from your old hard drive as it sounds like it just became a boat anchor.
