Hi,I've an old Seagate hdd which needs a 240v to 4 pin 12v/2a power supply.
Does anyone know where I can get one in the UK?
If not,is there any other way to power the hdd?
Thanks . .

That drive is so old and past it I wouldn't worry, they are £10 on ebay

IF you have to use it get this, I use these for old past it drives

How are you trying to use this? Your pc case should have an open molex connector you can use to power it. If you are trying to use it as an external then you would need a usb adapter in which you would need to plug that into a 240 to 120 volt converter or find the correct usb adapter for the UK.

Why not just dock it

It's a Maxtor 320gb external hdd [ about 20yrs old] which is powered by a mains power supply.
However,it won't power on via the power socket on it so I removed the hdd from it's enclosure so I can power it via the four pin plug[molex?] ,bypassing the enclosure's circuit.
That's why I want a power supply like this --- see pic
