Would a HD4770 run well on the Seasonic 400W SS-400ET?
Speaking as with playing games such as GTA IV without a fear of having it burn the rest of my computer parts.

Computer Specs:
INTEL PENTIUM DUAL CORE 2.8GHz E6300
GIGABYTE GA-G31M-ES2L
WD 320GB
G.SKILL 4096MB (2048MBX2) DDR2 800 CL5-5-5-15

Hmm, thats tough to say. The SS-400ET has 30A on the +12v rail, so you just should be able to run a 4770, as it requires 80 watts or so itself...

Seasonic is a reliable brand, as long as you have enough amps and not too many accessories you should be fine. my 300W seasonic has 22.5 amps and people don't believe me... lol:eek:

Seasonic makes some of the best power supplies out there. It will definetly without a question power that graphics card.

It could, but you dont just add the rails together remember, you have to look at the max combined wattage between the +12v rails, then divide that wattage by 12 volts for amps.

One rail has..um... i can't remember but the total of both rails equals 22.5 amps.
It's a seasonic thats rebadged with an Ipex label.

Yeah, you dont just add them together though. On there below it, there would be something like "max combined voltage on +12v1 and +12v2" or underneath the two rail rating, it would say "___ W"

Thank you all for your answers, but I ended up buying the 500W one so I won't have any power related problems and for future upgrades.
