Seen a second hand computer for sale near me, and im just wondering whether it'll be good enough for gaming to a medium level. Games i would like to play are Half Life 2, CounterStrike:Source, farcry, and maybe warammer online when it comes out at pretty high level of graphics.

The stats are:
Z-Aspire X-Qpac MicroAtx Case

Amd X2 Dual Core 3800+ Cpu

ASUS A8N-VM CSM motherboard with built in HD Audio

Corsair TWINX2048-3200C2PT (2gb ram)

Radeon X1300 Series 256mb graphics with dvi

Maxtor 6L160M0 160gb hard drive

Thermaltake A2331 Media Lab Black Front bay display

apparently it's being used as a media pc that you plug into your tv at the moment. Also, how future compatible would it be? and how much would you pay for it? (Its up on offer at £280 ono [which is about $550])

Graphics card is not too good. Along with the hard drive.

I would offer $470 - 510

I also have that Processor. Its a great reliable one.

Computers Decrease in value so quickly its not funny.

Does it come with a monitor, Keyboard, mouse or is it just the Box?

I was all like $500?! Then I remembered K3rupt lives in Ozzy. :)

I myself wouldn't offer a dime over around $300 USD

they said they can throw the keyboard and mouse in, but that means i can't play around on the price as much. No monitor at all.
However, i should think i have those lying around.

(Damn having a dell laptop with a rubbish shared graphics card that i cant play games on :()

:D haha!

Hmm . . . When they say there going to chuck in a Keyboard and Mouse, Do they mean an Old Dodgy $5 one or like a decent Logitech or something. . .

Should ask them.

How much were they offering? And in what currency?
'
Edit: Nevermind, I missed it somehow... I don't think it's worth it.

Thanks for the replys. Seeing as the general consensus from 2 people is that it isnt worth it, and i can't see myself knocking him down by more than £30, i'll look into building my own. Computer 101 here i come

Thanks for the help
