I am a freshman computer science student. I'm doing very basic java programming right now, but fully intend on moving into higher level programming. I built a heavy duty desktop computer, so I have a powerful machine for high demand processes. What I would like, however, is to get a small cheep laptop for portable programming, as well as internet use and word processing. I would like some advice on the specifications that I need for these tasks. Right now I am looking at the asus k200ma. My price range is $250 - $500 dollars. Preferably on the lower end of that scale. Thanks in advance!

Really for those uses any modern laptop will work fine. An i5 processor might not be a terrible idea if you can afford it.
