Security and forensics or Web technology?

Though I don't have a uni degree in either, most of my experience comes from working with security issues. But have you tried going to the uni and at least talking to the professors/students. And I'd ask professors if there is any of the students they recommend talking with, for a different perspective.
When I went to uni, I visited the dean and the president and I talked to various students. I liked what i saw. As far as what to pick, it kinda depends on what you're interested in. Do you want to be working with web site creating/hosting/server tech or do you want to be working with a business that is based around the security field? Do you want to be with a large corporate entity or a smaller business?
How much experience do you have in either field? Do you have any experience with computer, if so how much and what kind?
