Seeing chinese characters on program on XP

Hey Guys

Can someone please help me???
I recently downloaded a program but all the chinese characters are symbols. I have attached pic of the one that i have and my friends one. I have already install the language from control panel > regional and lanaguage things but it still not working.

Please someone help me...
