Seeking Free Download Booster

I know DAP free version but it seems to have adware. Also when I install it.... it comes with all strange icons on my desktop plus a fileshredder but I did uncheck ever offer when installing.

Anyway is there a free download booster out there with zero adware?
 
I have mozilla firefox.... when I click on downloading links.... the speed is normal like 200kb when using dap the speed is like 500kb. what you mena by download them all?

DownThemAll is a download accelerator/manager for firefox. It is pretty fast, but is not always reliable.

I'm not on the computer I usually use, and therefore do not have the better one. I believe it's called FlashGot. It just needs an external manager (I use Free Download Manager.

Flashgot allows you to choose the downloading program you want (in this case, free download manager).

Free Download manager is great because it can have many seeds, allowing for a faster download completion.

In short: DownThemAll is good for files up to 95 GB. The speed varies greatly.
Free Download Manager is good for files larger than 95 MB. (I got a linux distribution that was 4.1 GB and it only took 45-60 minutes or so with a 5MBps connection)
