self extracting file help

I downloaded a demo which came as a self extracting file. I tried to open it two times but at the end of the process it says "This process requires elevation" and it quits without doing anything however the problem is that my C: is now 4Gb less free. Can you tell me how I locate the unzipped files and delete them to free those 4Gb?

Thanks

When you click the self-extracting file does it give a path to where it will extract? Often they do.

Also you could try doing a search of your C: Drive using keywords like the name of the game demo, and if that fails search for *.exe and scan the results under Name and In Folder columns for names that look like they could be your extracted files.

I tried this but did not manage to find anything. No it does not ask because I think that after self extracting it should start the install wizard.
