Semi Annual maintanence HJT + MB -- Following power failure

Last night we had a power outage at home and though I believe it to be unrelated, suddenly my ESET is now popping up firewall exception questioning that I had previously set for regular used programs. Firefox, League of Legends, Java, Adobe. I do not know the effects of an immediate power failure, and furthermore I have a surge protector. I think this just happens to be random without some other type of explanation.

Nothing wrong in that log that I can see. How come you aren't running any virus software?

Power surges can cause any kind of damage to a system even if you do have a surge protector.

I am good sir. ESET SS 4, updated to the latest version with an actual paid key by me. That was what made me concerned enough to do this. I have set all sorts of rules for the firewall and then after the boot this morning it acts as though I just installed it. Popping up with Allow/Deny messages to programs I have already once set rules to. i.e Firefox, Java Update, Adobe, etc. There were so many today that it seemed somewhat odd. My results have yielded the same conclusion, nothing wrong. Maybe it's some fluke. I have no clue. All scans with all software have been negative, but I do not know how to read HJT so I figured I'd bother you for some of your time.

Just realized that. But i'm surprised ESET isn't listed under running processes or in the 04 section in Hijackthis.

Well I am on Windows 7. I'm not sure if ESET is now 'compatible' or not. When I originally got Windows 7 it warned that ESET was not compatible but I used it anyway because it has always been good to me. I'm going to re-scan just for the hell of it.
