how lame is that? dude scanned 1 doc and sent it by accident to public email address (it had over 100k ppl on it) by accident. Ppl started to reply saying 'wrong person'. within 10min over 10 million messages were generated bringing everything down.

funny things happen at work :P
 
This is why you have DLs with sender permissions ;)

At a previous place of employment we had reply-all problems with large DLs as well. Most of them were controlled but every now and then someone would make a whole company list and not limit allowed senders. 20k people + reply all + trolls = sad network + sad exchange server.
