Sending large files over the net

I have large files, such as home made videos, i would like to send uncompressed over the internet. We are talking about 4 gb sized files. How would i send this file over the internet with no change in the file or chance of corruption?
 
use winrar to split it into parts let's say if it's 700 mb that's about 50 parts
or whatever
and send one by one and then unrar
u'll get the file back

I usually send my stuff over MSN. I am not sure what the largest they limit it to. I have sent 700MB files over MSN messenger, so check that out.
 
u can't trust msn specially if ur connection is not stable and fast
i had a lot of problems sending files over msn
while yahoo messenger is more reliable
 
ftp is definatly the best bet, or create a torrent. Dont bother with msn, 4gb files could take up to a month depending on your connection speed. Msn does not allow you to continue the files, it just overwrites them.
