I sent my mobo back because it wouldn't boot. Couldn't get into BIOS or boot from CD.. I got a message today saying that they tested it and there is nothing worng with it... how could this be? I was recieving an error labeled "1.80(x9"
on my screen. a google search returned unrelated results...
The computer did boot the first time, and i installed vista and some drivers. I shut it down when i went out, came back home and it wouldnt boot properly.
Could the problem be my CPU? it is an E4300. It's 1.8ghz and has a 9x multiplier, which looks like what that error was displaying. I tried unplugging all unnecessaries: HDD, DVD, GFX and it still wouldn't boot.
Please help find the faulty part in my system. Apparently it isn't the motherboard... that thing cost me $25 to send back
