Serial ATA hard drive to usb 2.0

Hey

I have a hitachi 250 gb sata drive and i want to make it an external hard drive for my laptop
I have looked everywhere for a external enclosure for a serial ata hard drive that connects via USB 2.0 and cannot find one
so if anyone knows where to get one like that or has any other suggestions for me i would really appreciate it

the only thing is would it be worth it to buy an serial port cardbus for my laptop and then just use the serial port, or would something like this be better becasue i would much rather a 3.5" enclosure like the spio but they don't ship to Canada
any suggestions?

Is USB 2.0 faster than Serial-ATA? It is better to buy an external drive, if all the specs are the same except for the fact that one is S-ATA and the other USB 2.0?
