Serial ATA western digital hard drive

I have a 200 gig wd sata hdd, but the drive is not shpwing up in My Computer. I have installed all of the drive but it still does not show up, any clue on what i should do.
 
well did you install the drivers before windows loads? Did you enable the sata1 port in the bios? Did you format and partition the drive?
 
yes the drive is formatted n partitioned, but i didnt install ht edriver until after windows loaded, n im not sure how to enable it in bios
 
If your has auto-detect do that if not there should be a sticker in it that says how to install
other options are install windows again maybe
or mess with the jumper in the back its this little plastic move it each time and see if it works if only solutions I think of I am not an expert so maybe you should wait for someone else but try these mean while
