HELLO EVERYONE,

I thought I can solve any hardware problem until recently when I came across with my own PC xw6000.

I tried everything I could think of.

Here is the story.

When I press the start button the fans start spining but I don't get a POST beep and on the screen there is one short blink with start up page and then goes black again and does absolutely nothing.

Here is what I've done:

I tried different graphic card, I disconnected all PCI cards, I left only one working RAM module ( tried more too) disconnected both hard drives ( still no wornings that there is no bootable device ) replaced CMOS battery and finaly replaced the motherboard with two new processors and two new RAM modules.

Looks like the only thing which hasn't been replaced is power supply now.

i checked everything and I am just givin' up so if anyone could direct me anywhere I would be more that happy to offer him/her a whole track of chocolate!!!!!!!

Seriously, any help greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Dave

Is this a new build or just wouldn't boot up one day? Have you tried resetting cmos?

Remove power cord from power supply, remove cmos battery, push the power button on the case a few times to discharge any remaining power, then wait 5 minutes. Then reinsert battery and reconnect power and try booting up. have you tried building the system outside of the case to make sure you weren't grounding out against anything? Are there any bulging or leaking capacitors on the motherboard.

this is quite old server but it was running fine, motherboard and processors are fairly new though as I bought them recently.
The problem started about 2 months ago and I am looking for help as i am strugling for such a long time.
Yes I reseted CMOS a few times now.
Thank you very much for your help so far...
