so i've installed a second NIC in my winXPSP2 and it installed succesfully and working (its an ACERLAN ALN 201 NIC).
the very same PC dual boots with windows server 2003 but in windows server device manager it shows "device cannot start" and displays a yellow exclamation mark on it.
i thought i was a driver problem so i went to driverguide and downloaded about 5 diffrent drivers for this ACER NIC. (i also went to acer website but the search results returned nothing).
windows failed to see all 5 drivers and it tells me its not digitally signed so i re-installed the one server2003 comes with and it also fails to start the device..
what can be causing this ? as the NIC works fine in windows XP.
(note : i re-installed the NIC on XP to see if the drivers from driverguide works, and yes it works)

..as i rebooted my PC (XP) i got the same error i got in server2003.
