Good morning from California.
Can some one give a hand?
I just reconnected an SDL modem to my desktop pc yesterday, everything seems to be ok
since I can see the network map in the network and sharing window, it also shows local area connection. When I open my browser, in this case mozilla firefox, and I type an adress in the mozilla firefox search box like "www.msn.com", it goes to another window where it gives a lot of options of links like msn.com, msn news, etc... so that tells me that I have internet access. And when I click on any link, on the next page a message pops up telling me the the server was not found, "firefox can't find the server at www.msn.com".
I already checked firewall to make sure firefox is permitted to the web.
Do you think it is a modem or pc problem. Is there anything I am missing to do or check?
