hey guys,
I recently upgraded from a pentium d to a quad core, making sure that my motherboard does support the new cpu.
Now when i go to task manager - processes - rightclick-set affinity....it does not show the 4 cores, it only shows 2 like it did for my pentium d.
i then went to Control Panel\Performance Information and Tools...and i updated the new hardware.
I still cannot see the quad core, even though my system tells me i have a quad core
any clues for a hotfix or something?
