setting a d link 624 wireless router

Hello! I am having problems accessing the internet on my main pc (is the main pc the host pc or client?) At the beginning, it was working fine but now, the internet does not work, even though the status says enabled connection. The following are some of my information i got from ipconfig:

ip address: 169.254.131.186
subnet: 255.255.0.0
node type: unknown
autoconfigurationenabled

I think this causes the problem because before when it was working, it should be on 192.168.0.1 with subnet of 255.255.255.0 and with DHCP instead.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

But my wireless pc is working!
 
169.254.* isn't a valid IP address, it's an automatic private address. It sounds like windows is already set to obtain an IP address automatically so that's not it. Check the ethernet cable you are using and switch ports. Also check the routers configuration, I'm not sure it you can turn the onboard switch on/off or not
