Setting monitor's mode: Analog / Digital?

Hey

Two weeks ago, I bought a new LCD monitor, LG L1932TQ. When I finished installing the driver, a message appeared saying that the driver was installed successfully for the monitor LG L1932TQ (Analog). Also when I go to the Display Properties, there is written (Analog) as well. Does that mean that I can choose to work in either Analog or Digital mode? If so, how can I change it to Digital?

Thanks in advance,
Louie.

hook it up with dvi

it will look much better
What are you talking about? The quality difference between VGA and DVI is minimal.

Eyestrain and type of connection used is irrelevant, even more so when you are talking about LCD's.

I agree. I used both a DVI and VGA cable for my 19" and 22" LCD, and I don't notice any difference.

i beg to differ, i notice quite a big difference in stability of whites, and the smoothness of motion, and absense of ghosting when switching between vga and dvi inputs.

i suppose it could depend on your monitor

but anything with quick motion, be it gaming, or simply scrolling down a webpage, looks much more stable when using a dvi input

when a monitor has both, DVI and VGA,.. i would suggest using the DVI.. since the VGA is usually pretty crappy (or at least.. i saw a noticable difference) but the difference between a DVI monitor, and one thats VGA only.. I cant really notice a difference.

edit: but then.. that ofc could have been the quality of the sceen just.
