I recently bought a new 37" Series 3 Samsung HDTV. It has a PC port for using it as a monitor however the recommended settings are 1360x768 pixels @ 60Hz and 32bit and I don't have that. The TV is 720p and I have tried all settings that I thought could possibly work. Has anyone else been through this situation? I own a HP Pavilion a6330f with the NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE Graphics Card. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think you can just put this in as a boot command. hmm, I know you can do it in darwin, it would be:

"Graphics Mode"="1360x768x32@60"

you could try this, I think it would be your best option and if it works then we would have to look up how to get the computer to default this on every startup :)

I did. I tried that but it doesnt keep the resolution even if I click apply. It just goes back to the normal settings even if I say I want to keep the new settings.

ok, so I realized the reason was bc i hadnt set up the tv yet. It has a new monitor test and it found my TV. Applied the new resolution and viola, it worked. Thanks guys for your help
