i have tried many times to set up dual monitors, my main monitor is an 18" and the secondary monitor is a hd tv 22" dose my main monitor need to be the bigger screen because the display always seems distorted, out of proportion and blurry?
the tv is a full hd tv? tevo is the brand i believe?
can anybody help?

You can set whatever screen to be the primary screen. Go into display properties and hi light the screen that you want to have as your primary. There should be a check box that says use this as my primary monitor.

What screen seems to be blurry? As long as you are not duplicating the desktops you should be able to have both screens set with their own resolution.

im extending the dsplay from my main monitor, the secondary screen is blurry and out of proportion.
the reso is at max, still a weird display, just isnt right.

Sometimes TVs are not as good as monitors. You might have to do some more configuring in the nVidia/AMD control panel.

Even though you've selected the highest resolution, it doesn't mean it'll be the best. TV's generally speaking don't have a super high resolution, so even though your graphics card can do it, it doesn't mean you should.

Since you've said your TV is high definition, I'd suggest trying a resolution of something like 1920x1080, or 1280x720. Just work your way through the list and try different resolutions and stick with the one that looks the best.

at the momment no, my computer has been having some problems and has just completly crashed on me. as soon as i get the computer working i will post a picture
