Setting up hard drives for adobe cs6

Hey web,

I am building a video editing system and have 4 1tb hard drives at 7500 rpms each and an ssd hard drive which I will use for the OS and my main apps. My question is what is the best way to set up the four 1Tb hard drives to get optimal speed for adobe premiere pro and the rest of the Adobe suite CS6 (after effects, Photoshop, Lightroom etc, but most importantly premiere)

If you want pure speed and don't want to worry about backups you can set the 4 1TB drives as RAID0 (but if one disk dies, you lose everything). Another option would be to do RAID 0+1 (two 1TB drives in RAID0 mirrored to the other 2x1TB drives as a backup in case something fails).
