Setting up my new mobo

I'm setting up my new system and there are some pin spots that say "NC" for the F Pannel, USB connection, etc. What does NC mean?

I think its "no connection" or something like that. Its generally a spot where there's physically no pin or the pin isn't supposed to be connected to anything.

I would have thought that too, but there is a pin and the ones where there is no pin, it says "no pin".

Well, I know for my mobo NC is just a spot that isn't (or at least shouldn't) be used. I think as long as everything works don't worry about it

The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-8GPNXP Duo for Intel LGA 775

NoPin and No-Connect can (although nonintuitively) mean different things. A non-connect can have a pin thats just there for structural support....
