Setting Up New Network

I'm a novice when it comes to computer networking. At work i'm trying to set up a tower server, 8 computers, Firebox X55e. I was wondering how to connect all of them together and if i need a router or switch or hub.

Well, your firebox should be your first device after your internet connection is terminated at your premises by your router, so connect the firebox to the router (im assuming you have one there) then since the X55e has only 3 LAN ports (correct me if im wrong here) then i would connect an 8 port switch into one of those. You can then connect your 8 computer up to the switch. Probably be an idea to connect your server up to another lan port on the firebox as you can configure an individual zone for the server and set up the neccesary traffic policies, i think the firebox config might be your hardest problem if your new to them and depending on how you want it setup.
