Setting Up SCSI HDD on Abit IP35-E

Hello all, I am new to building PC's but was interested in building my first pc using (2) 73.4gb Seagate Cheetah 15.4's (15k rpm hdds) (ST373454LC) and was wondering what I would all need to complete such as task (aside from the hdds of course).

I have read that in order to use scsi hdds the mobo needs to have a scsi adapter or controller, but was wondering which one to select, what cables I would need, as well as any other information that might be beneficial to the build.

The ultimate goal of the build is as follows:

CPU: Q6600 (overclocked to 3.0ghz or so)
MOBO: Abit IP35-E
HD: (2) Seagate Cheetahs 73gb ea
RAM: 2x2gb Crucial Ballistix (PC800)
VIDEO: 8600GT (or equivalent)
Sound: Onboard 7.1
PSU: Around 700w
Case: Undecided

The Abit board does not support SCSI. You will need to get a controller card.
If you absolutely want SCSI then the best controller cards start a $300.

It should have it's own built in memory.
I suggest buying a couple of Raptors instead. Your motherboard already supports them and you will get very close to the same performance as the cheetahs.
The money you spend on the SCSI setup you suggest can by you two 24"-30" LCDs.
I would go that route.
