I'm scanning hundreds of photoes to burn to cd, some are color some are black & white, some are over 75 years old. My scanner is a hp psc 1350v all in one. What settings or techniques do I need to use to be able get best cd viewing on pc as well as with dvd to tv? Would I get better results to burn to cd or dvd?
Thank You
William

DVD holds more of course and not much difference in quality between CD and DVD though I think DVD is slightly better. DVD would be best as easier to a DVD player to read rather than a CD. Plus more memory as mentioned at beggining on a DVD.

I think I scan mine at 300 or 600dpi. (can't really remember, been a long time). I would try both settings. I think I used 600 for color and 300 for black and white. Use a RW to test and see which looks best :)
