Sever Spam is buggin me stupid!

OK, I work abroad, and have an e-mail address back in the UK. Our company has a dedicated server which all of our company e-mail addresses are received by (EG: [email protected])

However, as I am working overseas, our system is set up to forward mail to a Hotmail account that I use via Outlook Express. When I send e-mail, it obviously does not go back to the UK server and send from my @focalpointfires.co.uk e-mail address, but from my hotmail account, which is fine.

HOWEVER, lately I have been receiving daily e-mails forwarded from my @focalpointfires address, with headers like TEST, HELLO, which usually have messages like "This message is displayed as uni-code" or MAILERDEAMON@such and such telling me e-mails I havent sent have been rejected.

The guy who looks after out UK server says that NOD32 (?) software is installed on the server to protect from SPAM, and that all anti-virus software is also running correctly.

What is happening to cause this. I cannot send e-mails from my @focalpointfires.co.uk address to get SPAM in the first place, so why is this address subject to these dumb messages, and how can I stop it? I even get the occational SPAM from another @focalpointfires address, or even myself?

HELP!!!

Hint: Some programs allow you to send email to blocks of people.. allowing the person sending the email to say they have used your email address... I have gotten email that say they are from me, from myself + 1 extra letter/number... It is crazy, but in the end all i am able to do is create a block list of emails to not receive messages from.
