hi, i have a 21" flat crt monitor, its a Dell Trinitron, i put it to 100mhz and its reduced it a bit but not much, but every like 20 seconds everything shakes like crazy and goes slightly blurred then goes back to normal then does it again and so on, any reason for this?

try dropping it to 85Hz... also edit your post next time instead of repeating the original post and then adding to it
 
yes sorry i clicked edit then typed it in this box at the bottom thinking it would add to it so i apologise, no the 80hz puts it on extreme shaking lol
 
you might want to see what options there are in the built in menu for the monitor... i believe sadly that your monitor may be on its way out
