hi, hope some can help, im trying to share a file on kazaa lite resurrection ive put in shared folder and clicked on share in my kazaa.im sharing other files ive all ready downloaded but my mate has looked for a file but it doest come up, he does use kazaa lite but not the resurrection version. thanks for your time. doj
You don't have to use kazaa in order to share files with a friend. Installing a ftp server on your computer could be difficult, but there is a very easy way to share files with Fileshare: http://www.wfshome.com/
FTP servers arent that complicated
1. Get the FTP Server (i.e., something like FTP ServU)
2. Install, start it up, use default
3. If you're behind a router, forward the port (default 21)
4. Make an account (if you didnt do so in step 2)
5. Check firewall settings
6. Enjoy
