Hi i use a Belkin wireless network router to connect laptops and computers around my house to the net. I have Sky Tv downstairs but not upstairs, at my work they have sky going over their network, is there anyway of me doing this, or any way of sharing it to my tv and being able to control it upstairs, thanks
I'm not quite sure how your place of work has rigged the pc-networked Sky TV, possibly using a video capture card and software. If you were able to find out the name of the software that use to view it, it'd be easier to work out from there how they've set it up. I'm sure there's more hardware involved than just a wireless router.
For you, probably the less 'messy' way of doing it would be with something like a Digisender, I used to use one myself to transmit NTL cable to another room in the house, it worked pretty well. Like any wireless stuff though, you need to make sure you have a good reception or line-of-sight for a perfect picture.
