Shipping a computer

OK, here's an interesting question. I wasn't sure the best place to put this so I'll just put it with desktop computers, seeing as it's a tower :P

Someone bought a case, harddrive, wireless keyboard/mouse, and 3 CD-ROMs from me. My question, how should I ship it all? There's no motherboard or power supply in the case, so it's fine to stick a few things in there. I wasn't sure if I should actually mount the drives or what...

Obviously, my Compaq was sent prebuilt, so I suppose shipping with the HD and CD-ROM in place shouldn't hurt anything, should it? Maybe I could stuff the case with paper and have the other CD-ROMs in a small box in there? Maybe the keyboard an mouse in there as well in bubble wrap?

Any suggestions? I have the original box and styrofoam inserts for the case so that should be fairly secure.

Shipping will probably be though Fedex, maybe UPS if they seem to be cheaper...

i'd say wrap each individually with bubble wrap. i won a Gateway off Ebay, and the guy only had the computer itself wrapped with bubble warp, and when i got it yesterday, it was in great condition.

Make sure they got enough protection from vibrations, bumps and knocks. Don't get it in contact with water if not... better wrap in something with enough protection and also water proof.
