Shipping costs?

I'm living in the UK and I have been looking around the internet for some time now trying to find out what I want. I have around £600. I have been looking at US sites for the build and then the prices of shipping came to my attention.

My question is; Is it worth buying from the US and getting the parts shipped over(This is a whole build) or should I get it from closer to home?

Also, What are good UK pc sites?

Look at overclockers.co.um ebuyer.com and I think something like dabs.com for UK sites, the shipping over there woe be a lot and it would most likely cost more to do, and if it didn't the difference wouldnt be worth the wait difference.
 
dabs, overclockers and aria are good, amazon is excellent, if you use there standard free postage but it does take like 4 days minimum.

Dabs has some really good bundles, and ebay also has similar deals on bundles.
 
you need to pay VAT when it get into UK. Not point buying from US website. Plus you don't get warranty for your parts in UK
