Shortcut

I would like to put a shortcut on my desktop for BFB2 help please.:)

I don't know the exact file path, but go to your BFBC2 root folder.

If you don't know where it is, right click your current shortcut and click properties and it will tell you. It will be in program files somewhere, or Users>games most probably.

Once you are in the root folder, find the battlefield .exe file that opens it up, right click it and click copy.

Go back to your desktop, right click the background, click paste, and you have a shortcut there now :)

well why it wont work is hes not making a shortcut when he copies hes just copying that whole .exe and pasting it on the desktop now.

Easy way start menu where ever the game is listed there right click pin to start menu
thats what i do doesnt clutter up my desktop then u can rigth click and drag to the desktop and hit create shortcut

you are quite right, my bad russ.

If instead of just copying, right click the .exe file and click create shortcut.

Drage the shortcut to the desktop instead, rename it to "Bad Company 2" rather than "Bad Company 2 - shortcut" and it should work

Another method would be to alt-click and drag the executable to the desktop. Note the change is cursor when doing this.
