Should i buy cheap memory ?

i'm thinking of getting a 512mb for 20$
How likely will the cheap memory go bad ? i only use it for playing counter strike source so theres not mch "work" put on the card
my other memory is a kingston, so would there be compatability problems if i buy a different brand ?

Added:Will a corsair 512mb be compatable with the kingston 512 i have already in my comp ?

it might and it might not. that is the risk you're taking by using mixed ram. cheap ram can go bad just as the expensive ones can go bad too. is like a manufacture defect. on one of my test machines when i mixed the ram it would only detect 512 out of the 1gb i had to swap slots to make it detect.
