Should I buy

I was originally going to buy Corsair but it is out of stock. I wanted to know what other good performance memory is good for me. Also if I should buy two separate sticks or the combo (2x1GB)

best to buy same make/model/size of ram - 2 sticks of 1GB should be fine. That corsair memory is good but check RAM 101 by Praetor to get more knowledge on the subject;

It's best to buy them in a dual channel pack, as both sticks are from the same batch, and will have similar characteristics.

However, if you are only going to buy 1GB now, just buy a 1GB stick, and add another later on, and run them in a 2x1GB dual channel setup.
