should i change platforms?

hi. im using the rig in my sig. i have a 4890 lying around, as well as an athlon II x4 630, and 6gigs of ddr3 1066 ram. im wondering if i should go ahead and invest in an amd motherboard for the x4 630 i have. does this chip overclock very well? will it go further than my q6600 at 3.4Ghz, and perform any better than it? and about the 4890, it just seems that my gtx260 does better with loading the game and running cooler. maybe the drivers are better, i dont know, but overall give me your opinion. should i just chill with what i have, or spend some $ and get the am3 board and build a computer on hopes of it being better than what i have? if i were to get a board it would need to be around say $125 tops and from tiger or the egg. keep in mind the board im using now with the q6600. its great, and only want to spend $ if it will give me an edge worth the buck over my current setup. thanks again

according to www.cpubenchmark.net, athlonIIx4 630 is better than Q6600. However, when come to overclock, I am not sure how it is compare with Q6600@ 3.4GHz.
However, the problem is if you are not selling LGA775 now, the price would probably drop quick.

4890 suppostingly faster than GTX260... Is it a driver problem??

anyone else have any suggestions. if i were to sell the pc in my sig, how much should i ask for it?
