Should I continue anti-virus subscription?

I bought a new computer back in Feburary of this year and it came with a Norton antivirus subscribtion but it is about to expire. Should I renew it or are there better options? I'm running Windows 7.

I would get rid of it. Norton is not the greatest antivirus. Look into Avast or Microsoft Security Essentials.

My system already runs Microsoft Security Essentials. Should I also use the Avast antivirus program along with it?

Use one. Security Essentials works fine by itself. Lots of the players here like Avast.

Using two antiviruses at once causes problems. Both are great programs.
