should i delete Norton when i have Avira Antivirus Scanner ?

I am downloading Avira Antivirus program right now because my 60 day trial of Norton is going to be over tomorrow. Should i delete Norton if i am going to use Avira. Is Avira better to use than the basic Norton antivirus?

I would say uninstalling Norton on anything would help. But yes uninstall it and use AntiVir or AVG

Pfff I use Norton Internet Security and never had a single virus. Norton has one of the best scanners but yes, it is a ressource hog. Again, I choose security over speed...

download the norton removal tool and get rid of it. Having two AV programs can mess stuff up.
