Should I get rid of Arris TG862 modem/router

that my ISP Comcast provided. Should I buy my own router instead? Could someone please recommend a good wireless router/modem or whatever??? I am tired of paying lots of money each month to Comcast.....
 
Depends, is it crapping out on you? is it costing you 10 bucks a month? if its like a buck or two a month rental, and its doing its job, i wouldnt bother.
 
If that modem also includes digital voice then it might be hard to find one. But yeah, I would definately think about buying your own.
