Should I get this?

No, it's a rebadged HEC 300W, and that's all the power it can provide. DFI use these series as an example of what NOT to get. There are an enormous number of units between this and the S12. As for what to get, your video card (which you have not listed) will play an important part in the decision.

The graphics card is yet undecided.

SLI in the long run. lookin to be £100-£150 for one card.

I'm realy stuck on the PSU. I just don't get the rails. Would one of you good people explain them:confused: Please

For example 18A (amps) on a 12volt rail is the certain amount of power carried on one cable per say. The more things you have (sli, more then one hdd) the more amps is required. 18 A is the minumum these days to have on a 12 volt rail. If you are planning on sli in the future then I would get at lease 28A on the 12v. This is fairly accurate explanation but check out the 101.

I have a 24A PSU in my system,.. and when i overclock my CPU and grafics cards, it starts to smell a bit burned ( so no overclocking for me atm :D )
so i strongly suggest getting a PSU with at least 28Amp on the +12v rail :)

For myself, i had a look at the GameXtream series from OZC,..( 4 12v rails with 18Amp on each rail, thats the 700W version , the 600w one has combined 35A on the +12v :o) im just not sure if they are good/stable, because i havnt looked for a review yet,.. wich i'll do right away now :)

+12V@48A for the 600W model. Despite the confusing label, it is actually rated to output 580W on the +12V rails.

They most certainly are. The 600W model is my pick for the best value PSU at ~$100. It's likely to be somewhat over £60 in the UK, however, prices always tend to be higher there (and here :()
